Grant is Kasada's Chief Financial Officer. With a background spanning 25 years in accounting and risk management, Grant brings a wealth of financial expertise to his current role.

Before joining Kasada in 2024, Grant served as the Finance Director at LeapFrog Investments, an emerging market focused private equity and impact investing firm with assets under management exceeding $1.5 billion. In this role, he led the financial management of both the firm's Funds and its internal finances. During Grant's tenure at LeapFrog, he played a pivotal role in facilitating the sale of a stake in the general partner to Temasek, a global investment company headquartered in Singapore.

Prior to joining LeapFrog, Grant was the Chief Financial Officer at Bowmans, a pan-African legal services group, where he was a board member and a member of the Africa steering committee. In this role, Grant led financial due diligence for the group’s expansion across Africa. Prior to this, Grant was a Senior Financial Advisor at Peregrine, an alternative asset management investment firm. He also previously held finance and risk roles at the International Bank of Southern Africa, Brait, Investec Bank and PwC.

Grant is a qualified Chartered Accountant (SA). He holds a B.Com in Accounting from the University of Johannesburg and a B.Com Honors in Accounting Science from the University of South Africa. He is also currently pursuing his Master’s in Data Science from Goldsmiths, University of London.

Grant is South African and speaks English and Afrikaans.
